Rules and Regulations of
Furnaceville Cemetery
In order to maintain the beauty and quiet nature at Furnaceville, it is necessary for lot owners and those who visit the cemetery, to respect certain rules. As a lot owner, we ask your help in observing them.
THESE RULES MAY BE REVISED AND OR AMENDED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTIFICATION.
Adopted 4/11/2022 - Approved NYS Division of Cemeteries 6/13/2022
Lawn care for the cemetery is contracted out to Compton Landscape. Since there may be difficulty in grave opening in the winter, the Board of Trustees in 1963, built a masonry structure to house caskets for spring burial and in a separate room, to provide space for storage of lawnmowers and equipment.
